Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor – Aviation
Location: London Airports
Salary: £60,000 - £75,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to join a specialist aviation team, delivering major terminal refurbishments, airside developments, and infrastructure projects at London’s largest airports. This role offers the chance to work on high-profile projects, managing costs from inception to completion.
The Role
This position involves full cost management services across major aviation projects, ensuring successful delivery within budget and on schedule. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing project costs from feasibility through to final account.
- Contract administration and procurement strategy development.
- Budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Advising clients on risk management, value engineering, and commercial strategy.
- Liaising with stakeholders, design teams, and contractors to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience as a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor, ideally within aviation, infrastructure, or complex built environments.
- Strong knowledge of cost planning, contract administration, and procurement.
- Familiarity with major contracts such as NEC or JCT.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A relevant degree and professional accreditation such as RICS or equivalent.
