Job Title: Programme Controls / PMO Consultant
Salary: £43,000 to £67,000
Location: Central London or Oxfordshire (Hybrid working available)
Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Programme Controls / PMO Consultant to join a dynamic team within a leading consultancy. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing project control processes, tools, and procedures for high-profile projects across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive transparency and visibility of progress and performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Compile and feed into comprehensive programme and project reports.
- Provide constructive challenge and undertake analysis to support decision-making.
- Oversee programme controls, reporting systems, and the development of project management tools (including Power BI).
- Manage control processes such as change control, reporting, and risk management.
- Ensure effective governance and assurance across programmes.
Key Requirements:
- Proven background in project/programme controls or PMO.
- Strong understanding of schedule cost risk and the ability to contribute to comprehensive reporting.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with project management systems and tools.
- Experience in public sector or complex project environments is advantageous.
