Position: Head of Data Centres

Location: London

Salary: Up to £130,000 + Car allowance and bonus

Role Overview:
Our client, a globally respected real estate firm is seeking a visionary and accomplished Head of Data Centres to join their London-based Project and Development Services Team. With an established track record in delivering high-quality projects across heritage, commercial, residential, and data centre sectors, the team is now focused on expanding its presence and capabilities in the rapidly growing data centre market.
This role is a unique opportunity to lead a dynamic team, spearhead business growth , and deliver high-profile data centre projects for global technology companies and other clue-chip clients.


Role Overview
As the Head of Data Centres, you will drive the strategic growth of the division while overseeing the successful delivery of innovative and technically complex projects. You will also have a critical role in leading the team, strengthening client relationships, and positioning the company as a market leader in the data centre sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership and Strategy: Define and implement the strategic vision for the data centre division, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
• Team Management: Lead and develop a high-performing team of project management professionals, fostering collaboration and excellence.
• Project Delivery: Oversee the delivery of data centre projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
• Business Development: Identify and secure new opportunities within the data centre sector, leveraging existing relationships and building new partnerships with blue-chip clients.
• Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing strategic guidance and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships.
• Market Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations, ensuring the division remains at the forefront of the data centre sector.

Key Requirements

• Proven Leadership: Significant experience in a senior project management or leadership role, with a focus on data centre projects.
• Project Expertise: A track record of successfully delivering complex, high-value data centre projects for blue-chip clients.
• Business Development Acumen: Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, win work, and grow a business unit or division.
• Team Building: Experience leading and mentoring project management teams, with the ability to inspire and develop talent.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the technical and operational requirements of data centre projects, including design, construction, and commissioning.
• Client-Focused Approach: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
