Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: London

Salary: £65,000-75,000 + Bonus

Capstone is working with a well-respected consultancy known for its contributions across various sectors, including commercial, retail, leisure, and residential. The consultancy works closely with leading developers, contractors, banks, and local authorities.

Our client is looking to add Senior Quantity Surveyors to their team. This role offers strong opportunities for career progression, with the added benefit of mentorship from experienced directors. Responsibilities

• Undertake feasibility cost estimates and detailed cost plans.
• Understand & communicate risk associated with design proposals.
• Deliver post contract duties including payment, cost reporting and contract administration.
• Work closely with clients, design teams and contractors to optimise solutions.
• Experience of project procurement and differing routes available.
• Identify better buying, value management and supply chain opportunities.
• Undertake data collection to support benchmarking and knowledge management.
• Manage and own client relationships.
• Support with Business Development, internally and externally.

Qualifications and Experience:

• MRICS Qualified Quantity surveying.
• Experience working on projects in London.
• Ideally experience within Prime Residential work.
• Extensive knowledge of the real estate industry and construction processes.
• Expertise in the different stages of construction projects, starting from pre-construction planning and acquisition, through construction, completion, and eventual handover.
• Individuals who can lead teams and manage multiple projects.
• Skilled in developing Client and other project relationships.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Proficiency in industry software and tools.
• A track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget.
