Job Description: Industrial Project Manager

Salary: £45k - £55k + Package

About the Client:

Our client is a prominent construction consultancy with nearly 20 years of experience in delivering complex projects across the Industrial, Commercial, and Residential sectors. Specialising in the Warehouse & Logistics sector, they offer tailored advice and services to investors, developers, and occupiers. Known for managing a broad spectrum of projects-from large-scale new builds to refurbishments and maintenance works-they are trusted for their expertise in navigating the evolving demands of the industry.

Role Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Industrial Project Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing industrial projects, with particular expertise in the Warehouse & Logistics sector. This role involves overseeing all stages of the development life cycle, from initial due diligence and procurement to project delivery and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Manage industrial construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing tailored advice and ensuring that their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with investors, developers, and occupiers to align project goals and requirements. Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to achieve project objectives.
• Technical Expertise: Apply knowledge of the Warehouse & Logistics sector to manage projects involving temperature-controlled production facilities, fit-outs of distribution facilities, automation systems, and more.
• Project Planning: Develop and manage project plans, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Monitor progress and implement changes as necessary to keep projects on track.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices. Conduct regular site inspections and reviews to maintain high-quality standards.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: Proven track record in project management within the industrial sector, with specific expertise in Warehouse & Logistics. Experience managing complex, multi-million-pound projects is highly desirable.
• Qualifications: Relevant degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Professional accreditation (e.g. MRICS, APM) is preferred.
