Project Manager - Higher Education Team

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Package

About Us:
Our client, a leading global infrastructure consultancy, is looking for a skilled Project Manager to join their dynamic Higher Education team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead innovative and impactful educational facility projects that shape the future of learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of higher education projects, ensuring they meet client expectations for quality, budget, and timeline.

• Stakeholder Management: Engage and collaborate with academic institutions, funding bodies, and internal teams to ensure alignment and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure the safety, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of projects.

• Contract Administration: Manage contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions and addressing any contractual issues.

• Design Coordination: Collaborate with design teams to ensure projects are flexible, future-ready, and adhere to high sustainability and functionality standards.

• Cost Management: Develop and maintain project budgets, conduct cost analysis, and manage financials to ensure cost certainty.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure projects meet rigorous quality standards from design through to completion and handover.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years in construction consultancy, with a proven track record in delivering higher education projects.

• Expertise: Strong understanding of contract administration and experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of managing and influencing stakeholders at all levels.

• Project Management Skills: Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards.
