Project Manager (Client-side // Real Estate Developer)

Central London (Soho)

Package: £60,000 - £65,000 plus bonus and benefits

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Project Manager to join a team of agile, highly experienced, and collaborative professionals providing development management services to key investors in the UK real estate market. They are committed to place creation, wellness, and long-term value generation through thoughtfully designed sustainable buildings.

Projects span complex mixed-use, residential, and commercial retrofit in Central London, and urban industrial and logistics sectors. The company is actively pursuing joint venture partnerships to expand its portfolio in these areas. Their offices are located in the heart of Soho, Central London.

About the role:

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Project Management on various projects. The role demands a genuine passion for the industry and a desire to drive change. The appointed individual will be responsible for a range of projects, ensuring the highest levels of quality are achieved within set cost constraints. Key duties include:

- Management of design, planning, procurement, construction, and after-care

- Cost monitoring with internal finance and external PQS, including interrogation of reports and figures

- Tender analysis, procurement, and selection/appointment of contractors

- Selection, procurement, and appointment of consultants/sub-consultants and contractors

- Management of consultants and contractors to ensure the highest standards are maintained, benchmarking against the industry to verify best value for money

- Championing innovation in ESG, and implementing sustainable solutions and proven technologies

- Passion for placemaking

- Maintaining progress against programme by leading and driving the projects

- Weekly/monthly reporting and presentation of project progress against programme

- Monitoring quality of delivery

About you:

- At least 5 years' experience in project management delivering projects of reasonable scale in the property sector, ideally including commercial and industrial development

- Stakeholder management expertise and excellent communication and emotional intelligence

- Experience managing all aspects of a project from inception to completion, covering pre-and post-contract phases

- Appointing consultants, preparing scopes of service, negotiating and agreeing fees, understanding legal terms, preparing building contracts, and commenting on third-party agreements

- Independent project management experience with reporting and guidance from project lead

- Proactive, self-starter with a curious mindset and strong opinions

- Understanding of the development management process

- Knowledge of third-party processes, including planning
