Lorraine O’Sullivan brings over 35 years of diverse experience in the construction and property industries. Beginning her journey as a quantity surveyor, Lorraine spent her first seven years on-site, driven by a determination to break away from traditional career expectations. Transitioning from Lovells to Tesco, Lorraine thrived in roles ranging from cost management and risk assessment to programme delivery, working on transformative projects, including standardisation, sustainable building initiatives and international mixed-use developments.
Her global experience expanded further with a move to Coles in Australia, followed by a return to the UK to join Regus in developing cutting-edge office space formats. After founding her own consultancy, Lorraine collaborated with private developers on large-scale procurement projects and 3D modelling initiatives before spending two years at Amazon spearheading new formats across Europe. Since September, she has been applying her strategic leadership at SEGRO.
As a mentor, Lorraine combines her technical expertise with a passion for personal development. She takes a pragmatic approach, encouraging mentees to focus on strengths, own their progress, and embrace leadership over management. She is enthusiastic about mentoring at all levels and sectors, bringing humour, empathy, and a broad, hands-on perspective to guide meaningful career development.
